Media Harbour Düsseldorf

The Media Harbour ("Medienhafen") in Düsseldorf / Germany is known for its impressive architecture and it is a very interesting goal for a photo trip. Here you find some images from my last visit.

Colorium
The "Colorium" is a 17-storey high-rise in the Media Harbour. It was designed by the British architect William Allen Alsop and is nowadays a hotel. It has more than 2200 glass panels printed with different colors.
Flossi Sculptures
This image shows some of the "Flossi" sculptures attached to the Roggendorf building. These were created by the artist rosalie and have an height up to 4,20m.
Neuer Zollhof No. 2
The renowned architect Frank Gehry designed three buildings in deconstructivist architecture. This is building No. 2.
Rheinturm with Gehry Building
This is a view up to the Rheinturm tower and one of the three Gehry buildings.

And here we have a harbour view to the Rheinturm tower and the Gehry buildings.

The Rheinturm has 240,5m height and is a wonderful outlook point. (This image is an older one.)

Hotel with Cloud Reflections
This is the impressive Hyatt Hotel with reflections on its facade.
